About Me

Hi there! I’m JoAnn, a mother to one little ball of joy, born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. I have been traveling the world since I was 2 years old and have always been passionate about new places and people. I am a seasoned traveler with a degree in Travel and Tourism.

Jojostribe is a travel group lead by myself for people who are in need of a getaway from every day stress or just curious about new destinations.

​

For the last few years, I have been traveling with friends old and new, discovering new and exciting destinations. With each trip, I have forged new experiences and boundaries that positively affect my daily life as a mother, daughter and friend and I hope to help transform your life through travel as well.

I am also becoming a big advocate of self-care and self-preservation and wanted to create a safe space where I can share personal experiences and practices that are helping me set new intentions and live a "stress-less" journey.

By day, I am a travel consultant with a full service travel agency established in Sarasota, Florida since 1984 with currently 25 experienced travel counselors and support staff and over 600 years of combined travel experience. I also handle individual and private group travel requests.

​

In my free time you can find me in the garden, the kitchen (eating or cooking), at the beach or on a bench dreaming.
